This occasion calls for a round of applause! Last week, Hudson, OH was announced as a finalist for the 2018 Intelligent Community of the Year. They represent not only Ohio, but also the United States, as the only American city to make the Intelligent Community Forum’s (ICF) list. Congratulations, Hudson!
Now, the selection process begins. The next eight months will be spent assessing the finalists, and the winner will be announced June 7 during an Awards Dinner at the ICF Global Summit in London. Finalists were selected for being models of economic, social and cultural development in the digital age, as well as the 2018 program theme: Humanizing Data, which explores the intersection between big data and open data, and the impacts of a data-driven economy on communities.
